Description: Located south of Livingston, this hand-hewn log home sits on twenty acres on the side of Antelope Butte, an open, meadow hillside where you can often see wildlife. Trail Creek is just down the hill from the cabin. You can sit on the deck and watch the birds in the willows along the creek. There are wonderful views of the impressive Absaroka Mountains across the Paradise Valley. The wrap around deck looks down on Trail Creek where you'll be treated with close-up views of birds and other wildlife. This authentic Old West cabin is made of all hand-hewn, squared off logs and is about 1300 square feet in size.There are two bedrooms and two full baths in the home. The bedroom on the main floor of the cabin has a queen size bed; there is a full bath with tub across the hall. The second bedroom is in an upstairs loft that has a queen size bed and a set of bunks. It has a large attached bath with a stall shower. The upstairs bedroom also has incredible views of the Absaroka Mountains through a big picture window. There is additional sleeping space on a sleeper sofa in the living-room. Enjoy hiking in the Absaroka and Gallatin Mountain Ranges, fishing on the Yellowstone River and its many spring creeks, exploring Yellowstone National Park, a memorable meal at the old Chico Hot Springs Resort (and a soak in the hot springs pool afterwards!), horseback riding and white-water rafting. Trail Creek Road is perfect for exploring the area by mountain bike, or spend a lazy day reading on the deck and watching wildlife. There's so much to do!
